As I progressed further in my education I became more and more confident with using technology. In both my high school years and in my college classes today I use powerpoint for a lot of projects. I really like using powerpoints because I think it is a great way to incorporate information, pictures, sounds, and even videos to help with learning. I have also been able to work on smart boards a lot. They are another great way to collaborate many different learning styles.

Customize and personalize learning activities to address students’ diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources
One of my favorite teachers used this standard extremely well. She understood that there are many different preferences in learning styles for children. She incorporated many different things that would help students of many different learning styles. She would use her smart board to show videos, allow us to draw pictures, and try problems hands on to cover every learning style.

I plan to continue to stay positive and also keep learning about new technology that I can bring to my classroom. I will use a smart board, overhead projection, and powerpoints to continue to reach students of all learning styles. I think it is very important to teach my students how to use different technology because technology is such a big part of everyday life.
